We aim to respond to all requests within 5 to 10 business days.

The process is confidential, and your individual circumstances will only be disclosed to the small Maccabi Victoria exec group determining the allocations. The club you play with will know that you are receiving fee assistance but will not have any sensitive details of the application shared with them.

Our finance officer will be your contact point.

If you have already paid the fees, she will be in touch to organise a refund.

If you have not yet paid the fees, she will liaise with the club to organise a discount code or alternative registration link to allow you to register with a partial payment, and Maccabi Victoria will pay the balance directly to the club.

If you do not wish to apply for fee assistance, or are not successful in your application, and would like a payment plan, we encourage you to speak to the club as to what mechanisms they have available for payment plans.

Any member of the Jewish community in financial need is eligible to apply. We want to ensure that no one in the community misses out on playing sport for Maccabi due to financial hardship.

You will need to apply for fee assistance at the start of every new season. We understand that people’s circumstances change and sometimes you may be eligible for a higher or lower level of funding, depending on the situation.

Depending on your situation, additional funding (usually at a lower level than the first sport) may be available for participating in a second sport in the same season.

Each child is treated as a separate application and funded accordingly.

Whatever your circumstances, if paying your club fees will cause financial distress, we encourage you to apply.

Generally, we won’t fund a sport season where you already have fee assistance from another source. If you feel your circumstances require funding from multiple sources, please reach out to our finance officer to discuss.

Junior Carnival and Maccabiah have their own fee relief programs. Please contact us to enquire about fee relief for Junior Carnival or Maccabiah.

Applications for other programs are assessed on a case-by-case basis – whilst the focus of the program is funding participation club sport, we do make exceptions in some circumstances and support other club-related activities. Please apply and we will be in touch to discuss your application.
